Ashley Horger

I’m so grateful to serve as the Administrative Assistant here at FBC! My husband, James, and I celebrated 19 years of marriage in December.  We have two daughters—Mia, who just turned 10, and Charlie Jo, who will soon be 5. We moved to Grayson County from California in 2018 and joined FBC the following year. In California, I worked for ten years with the local school district as a Special Education instructional aide before earning associate degrees in both Natural Sciences and Nursing. After moving back to Kentucky, I worked as an RN in an allergy clinic for several years. When Charlie Jo was born, I felt called to stay home with my girls, and I’m excited that God has now called me to serve my church in this role. In my free time, I enjoy reading, taking my girls to community events, going to Christian music concerts, and being creative - from photography to cooking and everything in between!  I’m also a huge geek and love Lord of the Rings (extended editions only!) and Doctor Who.
