About me
I have been married to my high school sweetheart Marty for over 28 years. Our oldest son Noah and his wife Kenzie have blessed our family with our grandsons Clayton Ray and Houston. Our youngest son Maxton is finishing his last year of college at the University of Kentucky where he is studying Engineering. We also had a daughter, Lorris, who as an infant went to be with Jesus.
I am a graduate of Western Kentucky University and have a Biblical Counseling Certification from Light University. After teaching High School Sunday School for several years, I recently stepped out in faith to become the Director of Youth Ministries at FBC. My favorite part of youth ministry is building relationships with students and seeing them grow in their faith!
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, especially my grandson! I also enjoy reading, gardening, photography, and listening to podcasts.
Fun Fact: I am a speed reader! I have been known to finish a lengthy book in a day.
